Your Right to Deletion

Under GDPR (EU) and LGPD (Brazil), you have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time.

How to Delete Your Account

📱 In the App:

  1. Open the Dançaria app
  2. Go to Settings (gear icon)
  3. Scroll to "Account"
  4. Tap "Delete Account"
  5. Confirm deletion

📧 By Email:

Send an email to privacy@dancaria.com with:

  • Subject: "Data Deletion Request"
  • Your full name
  • Email registered on the account
  • Explicit confirmation that you want to delete your account

What Gets Deleted

After deletion, we remove:

  • Your profile and personal information
  • Uploaded photos and videos
  • Posts and comments
  • Activity history
  • Preferences and settings
  • Location data

What May Be Retained

Some data may be retained for:

  • Legal obligations: Financial data for period required by law
  • Security: Security logs to investigate fraud
  • Third-party rights: Messages sent to other users

Deletion Timeline

Your account will be deactivated immediately. Complete data deletion occurs within 30 days of the request.

Account Recovery

After deletion, you cannot recover your account or data. You will need to create a new account if you wish to use Dançaria again.

Social Media Login

If you used Google, Apple or Facebook to login, deleting your Dançaria account does not affect your account on those platforms. You can manage Dançaria permissions directly in each social network's settings.

Confirmation

After complete deletion, we will send a confirmation email to the registered address.
